Fanny is a trained anthropologist with a specific focus on Southeast Asia and the tourism industry. At United Minds she specializes in qualitative methods and has extensive experience in ethnographic field studies and with working in, and coordinating, several international projects. Fanny's specialty areas are mainly the retail and hospitality industries, but she works broadly with a wide range of clients, both within the public and private sectors.
Fanny has studied at Uppsala University and St. Andrew's University in Scotland. Besides cultural anthropology, her master's degree also includes media and communication studies, as well as development studies.
Her greatest interest is traveling, preferably to her favorite city Bangkok. Moreover, she happily spends time practicing her recurrent New Year's resolution – to become fluent in Thai. (So far, she can at least count to ten.)
